The Cape Comedy Collective Big Birthday Bash II - Pics from Sunday 29th July 2001 The Armchair was packed to popping for the CCC's celebration of two years on the Cape Town scene. While some founding members were sadly absent, many who've since moved on were in the crowd, and cheering as act after act rocked. In the past, the CCC's penchant for multimedia resulted in redicule, but they more than pulled it off this time: the Destiny's Child ripoff featuring Irit Noble, Clare Watling, and some oke who always wears dresses and we think plays with Boo had us all wishing M-tv had taste. The line-up featured Kurt Schoonraad, Kagiso Lediga, Stuart Taylor, Conrad Coch, Riaad Moosa, Tracey Klass, Sarah Hansman, ubiquitous MC Mark Sampson and others. Click pics for a larger version.
