What's the first funny thing you remember saying?
"Moet hom nie 'n pakslae gee nie" {In 'n diep stem sonder om my lippe te beweeg}

What drove you to choose comedy, when you could have been a mechanic or a doctor or something decent like that?
Daar staan geskryf "laughter is the language of the soul".

What's your favourite fashion accessory?
Swart.

How has the way you look affected your identity as a comic?
Ek wil nie he mense moet heavy voel na my show nie.

Are there things you wouldn't say on stage? Eg, any words you'd never use or subjects you'd never tackle?

Who is your major influence? And your major South African influence?
David Strassman. Casper De Vries.

Is there any figure from your past that you'd like to see in your audience? What would you do to them or for them?
Daai onderwyser wat my gemoer het omdat ek die klas laat lag het deur my skoolsokkie te laat praat.

What's lacking from South African comedy, or audiences, that it remains such a small scene?
Mentors, Sponsors, Awareness, Vision but it is changing slowly but surely. I see great future for comedy in South Africa. Nature has it's own pace. Success will come.

Do you think all South Africans can all laugh at the same joke at the same time. What kind of joke would it be?

Do you ever steal jokes?
Ek noem dit navorsing.

Would you sell your material?
Ja, ek wil graag 'n CD van my Live Show eendag vrystel.

Would you promise never to use them on stage again after the sale?

Which internationally renowned comic would you most like to work with? What would you do to him/her?
David Strassman. Sy tegniek bestudeer.

What's the most embarrassing death you've ever seen another comic die on stage? (names not necessary) Describe the incident, and how you felt.
At Ratanga Junction I saw a young comic bomb. The worst thing that can happen to a comic on stage is for an audience to feel sorry for him/her. Shit happens.

Where would you like to live when you retire - if ever?
Brenton on Sea.

How funny do you Really think you are?
So hard as wat die gehoor lag!

Will you matter 50 years after you're dead? Will it matter to you?
I believe it is a basic human need to leave a legacy as we age. If one leads a life with purpose I am sure your contribution will matter. If I am dead I guess it won't matter to me.

What's the interview question you'd most like to be asked, and what is the answer?
Q:How does one become a ventriloquist?
A: Well you have to be abducted by aliens, and yes I have been abducted by aliens. But I am from Bellville I performed sexual experiments on them. But it went great, I'm married, I breed well in captivity.
